The course is structured with plenty of scope for your unique artistic expression and is open to all levels of prior experience, including none! The key emphasis is on relaxing & dropping into the ‘now’ of the playful creative process. Each session will start with a short guided meditation.

Theme this term: Material Poetics

We’ll explore the myriad creative possibilities of different materials and processes in making art from the conventional to the less conventional. You’ll have the chance to try out various materials including pastel and pigment, oil and acrylic, ink and watercolour on different surfaces - eg paper, board and canvas. Processes will include drawing, painting, printmaking and collage.
