Experimental Drawing & Painting - 10 week course

10 week course costs £240 including materials & refreshments                                                                                  The course is structured with plenty of scope for your unique artistic expression and is open to all levels of prior experience, including none! The key emphasis is on relaxing & dropping into the ‘now’ of the playful creative process. Each session will start with a short guided meditation.

Theme this term: The visual ingredients of picture making

We’ll explore different elements of picture making and expression one at a time, sometimes using the garden from which to draw inspiration. Form, mark, shape, colour, line, movement, tone, pattern, texture, rhythm, space will all provide starting points for playful and creative exploration, and we’ll bring them together using a range of different materials through drawing, painting, printmaking & collage. Each session will start with a short mindfulness meditation.
